A Bit About John
Where It All Started
John Bougas loves three things in life… his family, cars and golf!
Born into the well-known Bougas Optometrist family in the early 90’s, he decided at a young age that he wasn’t going to follow in his grandfather and father’s footsteps.
During his high school years, he worked at the golf course to earn pocket money and fell in love with the sport. After matriculating at Durbanville High, he was given the opportunity to play golf in Mauritius and used it as a gap year.
On his return to Cape Town, he followed his other passion – cars! He joined the Reeds Motor Group at the age of 20 and was the youngest salesman ever (23) to win the Platinum Group Sales Award. From there, he accepted the position of Group Sales Manager at Perdeberg Motor where he gained experience for three more years.
In 2018, he started John Bougas Cars. His love for cars and sales drives him to continuously improve his skills. Initially, the Dale Carnegie course helped set the foundation for his career, followed by courses in management, leadership, sales and life coaching.
His motto in life is Honesty is the only policy and prides himself on the fact that John Bougas Cars buys clean cars, sells clean cars and will guarantee the best price! Always!
